Student QUOTES
"My [graduate school] teachers have told me they love how physical I am in acting and that I'm very free with movement and use of space, so thank you because you were a huge part of teaching me about use of physicality."
"This class pushed me further than I thought I could ever go. It taught me to respect and love my body; it gave me a different perspective and appreciation for my craft."
"It may seem difficult to teach something like courage, but this class helped me to embrace trying techniques and ideas that might not work and to accept my failures as a learning experience. There are few careers that are closely tied with rejection and failure."
"Robin is such a humble, open human being and I would love to continue to learn from him."
"Robin is such a responsible, caring, strong, and informative teacher. I learned so much about my alignment, muscles, and balance in this course and was wonderfully outside of my comfort zone. This class is important in both technique and confidence building."
"An absolute joy. My entire class loves Robin and for me, he was one of the most nurturing, patient, and kind teachers I've had at the Boston Conservatory, who really made me feel like I could do the things I wanted to do. At the start of this class I couldn't do a headstand and now, thanks to Robin's guidance, I'm able to do crazy things in aerial silks. This class has allowed me to really access my body in new ways that I feel I will be able to employ in my acting and I will always be grateful."
"So informative. Robin is a wealth of knowledge and explains things in ways that make perfect sense when previously they didn’t. He’s a great teacher and everyone should take this class!!"
